Next Friday 1st December 2017, at 5.30 pm, our Institute will celebrate the centenary of the Bolshevik Revolution with a lecture of one of the most prominent Italian scholars of the Russian history: Giovanni Codevilla, already professor of Comparative Ecclesiastical Law at the University of Trieste, will speak about the Orthodox Church and the revolution. Our Institute is going to conclude the initiatives for the five hundredth anniversary of the Lutheran Reformation with an international conference, co-organized together with the University of Florence-SAGAS Department and the Medici Archive Project, and that will take place in Florence from the 23rd to the 25th of November 2017, with the participation of prominent Italian and foreign scholars.
