Danses macabres and Triumphs of Death at the end of the Middle Ages

By 30 September 2017Conferences

A classical ‘case study’ and the attribution of a fresco to a till now uncertain painter: Chiara Frugoni and Simone Facchinetti have very carefully investigated the history of the ‘Danse macabre’ of Clusone, in the province of Bergamo, combining the religious history and the art history. Together with the two authors, Sofia Boesch Gajano and Vincenzo Farinella will discuss the results of this research at out Institute, next Monday 30th October. Download here the program for more details.
